1.2 REQUIRED (ACTIVE) VOLTAGE DV-28
To connect the DV-28 you will preferably need a
'clean' Group of at least 15 Amp. A 'clean' group
means that this Group will only be used by the
DV-28. If you do not have a(n) (extra) 'clean'
group we advise you to have the DV-28 installed
by a certified installer.
The DV-28 has two 15 Amp (thermal) fuses.
These fuses turn off the DV-28 automatically in
case of an overload and / or a short circuit..
1.3 INSTALLATION OF THE DV-28
Remove the front panel of the DV-28 housing.
At each corner of the housing you will find
a fixing hole, with which you can mount the
housing onto a (flat) surface with the 4 screws.
CAUTION!
The analogue timer is a sensitive part of the
DV-28, and is not resistant to hard shocks.

grounded (230V) connection cords
• Install, if needed, a grounded outlet on each
of two four 'clean' groups.
• Plug the two connection cords into the outlets
of each of their 'clean' groups.
• The two connection cords are now divided
over two different 'clean' groups.
• Your DV-28 is now connected to the mains
voltage.
1.4 CONNECTING EQUIPMENT TO THE DV-28
You can connect 8 x 600 watt or 10 x 400 watt
fittings to your DV-28.
In steps 1.2 and 1.3 you have;
• Connected your DV-28 to a 'clean' group,
• Mounted it onto a flat surface,
• Connected it to the mains voltage.
Now the electric ballasts (fittings) will have
to be connected to the DV-28. Please read the
installation manual carefully before you connect
the electric ballasts, In order to connect them
properly.
If the electric ballasts have been properly
connected there will be a 230v. cord on each
of the electric ballasts. Plug all the cords of
the electric ballasts into the 8 power outlets
(sockets) on the sides of the DV-28. You now
have connected the electric ballasts to the
DV-28.
