WALL MOUNTING
This fan must be mounted to a wall before use. A Phillips head screw has been provid-
ed for this purpose.
WARNING: Before mounting the fan, ensure it is unplugged and set to "0" or "OFF"
The fan should be mounted so that the blades are more than 2.3m above the floor.

Locate and mark the position on the wall where the fan will be mounted (prefera-
bly at a wall stud).

Use the fan bracket against the wall as a guide for creating the holes.

Insert the anchors (provided) into the wall
4.
Insert the screw (provided) into the wall stud. Leave approx 5/8" (1.6cm) of the
screw exposed.
OPERATING THE FAN
Make sure the speed control is at the 0 or OFF position. Set the fan on a level and dry
wall surface and plug the power cord into the socket.
To use the Remote Control - Open the cover at the bottom of the remote control and
insert 2 AAA batteries (not included).
OFF: switches off the fan.
ON/SPEED: switches on the fan and sets the speed.
TIMER: set the running time: 0.5, 1, 2, 4 or 7.5hrs
OSC: allows the fan head to oscillate (turn) from left to right.
Press once to activate and once more to deactivate
You may also operate most of the fan features without using the remote. There is a
control panel located on the wall fan itself:
Press to switch on and set the speed
Press to switch off the fan
Press to oscillate or keep stationary
After turning the fan off, always be sure to unplug it from the electrical outlet.
