8. Operation
a) Positioning / mounting
• Ensure sufficient ventilation.
• Do not place the product on soft surfaces (carpets, beds, etc.).
• The air circulation must not be impeded by objects such as newspapers, tablecloths,
curtains, etc. Those could prevent heat dissipation from the product and cause
overheating (risk of fire).
• Do not drill any holes into the housing and do not screw any bolts onto the housing.
That could damage the product and affect safe operation.
• When installing the product, ensure secure standing and a stable surface.
• If the product falls down there is a risk of injury.
• When installing the product, make sure the connection cables cannot get squeezed
or damaged by sharp edges.
• Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This
poses a risk of injury.
• There must be no devices with strong electric or magnetic fields such as transformers,
engines, wireless phones, radio equipment etc. be located in nearby proximity, as
these could affect the operation of the product.
• Never place the product on valuable or sensitive furniture surfaces without using
sufficient protection.
• Place the product on a level surface.
• If needed, the product can be attached to a rack.
