detected as drip pan absent. Always make certain that the
drip pan is inserted carefully into its housing and check
that the "drip pan not present" symbol does not appear on
the screen.
5.10 AUTOMATIC DEFROST
The dynamic defrost function minimises the time needed to remove
any ice deposited on the heat exchanger, a function required to
maintain high machine operating efficiency at lower temperatures.
When ice forms on the evaporator, the machine runs the defrost
cycle first with a forced ventilation and cooling cycle and then with
the injection of hot gas until the ice on the finned coil is completely
melted.
The following symbol appears on the screen:
6. TRANSPORTING AND HANDLING
Warning
Before moving the dehumidifier:
• Stop the machine as outlined in the instructions in the
paragraph entitled "STOP";
• Disconnect the power supply by removing the plug from
the power socket;
• Check that the drip pan is secured properly and does
not contain any water that could overflow.
When moving and handling the dehumidifier, never set it in a
horizontal position.
Warning
The dehumidifier must always be in a vertical position
when operating and during transport, handling and
storage.
If not, serious consequences could occur and the
refrigeration circuit could be completely blocked.
7. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
