1.4 About the battery
The MyTag includes a Panasonic CR2032 battery already installed in the device. This battery
o ers an approximate autonomy of 1 year. The autonomy will vary depending on the usage
of the device and the atmospheric conditions in which it is used/stored.
Once the battery dies, you can use any CR2032 battery to keep the MyTag powered on.
In order to change the battery, carefully withdraw the back cover of the product with an apt
screwdriver. Make sure to not lose the screw. Take out the old battery, place the new one and
put the cover back again and fix it with the screwdriver.
1.5 About IP protection rating
The MyTag has an IP66 protection rating that o ers a very high water resistance against
heavy rain or any other adverse weather condition. Even though the product is prepared to
withstand these conditions, it is not optimal to wet it unnecessarily, as adverse weather and
water spillage will obviously cause a faster wear of the product.
Note: Saltwater causes a corrosive e ect, so in case the product gets wet by it, make sure
to carefully rub it with a damp cloth (use fresh water to wet the cloth).
