4. Initial use
Remove the computer mouse from its packaging. Take the mouse and open the
battery compartment at the bottom. Insert two new 1.5V AAA batteries into the
provided holders. Ensure that the direction (polarity) is correct when inserting. A
symbol at the bottom of the compartment shows the correct polarity.
Note on using batteries:
Due to the low battery voltage of only 1.2V, the functioning of the mouse cannot
be guaranteed with all types of batteries. Malfunctions such as jumping of the cur-
sor or shortened battery life are also possible. We recommend using 1.5V alkaline
batteries.
Close the battery compartment and push the slider to the "ON" position. The
mouse is now ready for use.

Press the "Connection" button at the bottom of the mouse briefly till the status
green LED at the top of the mouse starts glowing. Remove the receiver from the
compartment at the back of the device and connect it to a free USB port on the
desired device. This can also be done even during ongoing use thanks to "Plug
and Play".
The device driver is installed automatically. Manual installation from a driver CD
is not required.
Bluetooth
Press the "Connect" button briefly until the blue LED at the top of the mouse starts
glowing.

Press and hold the "Connection" button for about 5 seconds to get into the
pairing mode. The status LED starts flashing rapidly in blue.

Turn on the Bluetooth connection of the desired device with which you
want to connect the mouse.

Search for the "Bluetooth Mouse" in your Bluetooth environment.

Press the "Pairing button" (3) and wait until the Bluetooth device is
