b. FLUSH MOUNT (continued)

Remove the yoke screws and lock washers which correspond to
the holes in the canopy (B).
□
Remove the bolt, flat washer and cotter pin on the yoke.
□
Position the canopy (B) over the holes on the motor (E) and secure with
the same screws and lock washers removed in the previous step.
Ensure to place the rubber bushing (AA) between the canopy (B)
and motor (E).

b. FLUSH MOUNT
□
Install the J-Hook (CC) through the center of the outlet box and into
the wood joist.
□
Secure the mounting bracket (A) and rubber gaskets (BB) to the
outlet box.
□
Hang the safety cable onto the J-hook (CC).
□
Hang the temporary hook (GG) on the mounting bracket (A).
Hang the fan on the temporary hook (GG).

INSTALLING THE MOUNTING
BRACKET
a. DOWNROD MOUNT
□
Install the J-Hook (CC) through center of the outlet box and into the
wood joist.
□
Secure the mounting bracket (A) and rubber gaskets (BB) to the
outlet box.
□
Hang the safety cable onto the J-hook (CC).
□
Hang the fan on the mounting bracket (A).

ELECTRICAL HOOK-UP
□
This fan is equipped with a remote control unit for controlling
the fan speeds and light kit.

Setting the code on the hand-held remote and the receiver.
□
Remove the battery cover on the hand-held remote
(Press firmly below the arrow and slide the battery cover off).
□
Install a 9V battery (not included).
□
Set code switches to the desired position.
□
Set the code switches to the same positions on the receiver
as set on the remote.
