5. Taking care that the spacer does
not move, insert the SSD into the
M.2 SSD expansion slot connector
() and then align the end
opposite to the connector with
the screw hole, hold it in place,
and secure it with the screw you
removed in step 3 ().
Overtightening the screw may
damage the SSD or M.2 SSD
expansion slot.
6. Insert the end of the M.2 SSD
expansion slot cover into the PS5
(), and then align the cover
with the screw hole, hold it in
place, and fasten it with the screw
you removed in step 2 ().
7. Attach the PS5 panel.
Align the hooks on the panel with
the attachment positions on the
PS5, and then slide the panel to
attach it.
