Installation of Pump
inside Flex Basin
To install the pump inside the
Basin, plumbed directly to a
Copper Bowl or Spillway, follow the
instructions in the FFKIT1 Manual,
using Cord Seal Fittings to pass the
pump cord through the pumping
as shown in Figure 5.

inside Flex Basin to
FiltoClear outside
To install the pump inside
the Basin, plumbed directly
to a Filtoclear filter, follow the
instructions in the FFKIT1 Manual,
using Cord Seal Fittings to pass the
pump cord through the plumbing
as shown. Connect the discharge
of the pump to the FiltoClear to
deliver filtered water to Spillway,
Bowl or Fountain Nozzles (Figure 6).
Installation of Pump
outside Flex Basin
To install an inline pump, such
as the AquaMax Eco Premium,
outside the reservoir, connect
the intake of the pump to the
rear of the bulkhead fitting, using
silicone or Teflon tape for threaded
connections. Please note, the intake
may need to be screened to keep
very large debris from entering the
pump; debris under 1/ 4 " will pass
without issue (Figure 7).
Plumbing multiple fixtures
When plumbing multiple fixtures,
run a main feed line along the
back of the wall, teeing up to the
individual fixtures (Figure 8). If
plumbing multiple fixtures, it is
best to install a ball valve in each
line feeding the fixtures to provide
more control over water flow.
When running more than three
fixtures, the main feed line should
be increased to at least 2". It is
recommended to build a drain plug
into the manifold for winterization.
