Discuss what you see on all 3 Story Hill boxes with your child. Make
connections to your child's experiences.

Can you sing as well as the Bunny
and the Carrot in the picture?
How many Bunnies are listening to the bedtime story?
The red Story Hill box introduces your child to Funny Bunny's
family, which lives in a rabbit hole under Bunny Hill.
The blue Story Hill box shows how Funny Bunny, Carrot,
and their friends experience the seasons together.
The yellow Story Hill box tells the story of friendship
and adventure between Funny Bunny and Carrot.
I remember you, Funny Bunny!
Beginner: Select 2 Story Hill boxes and hide Funny Bunny
under 1 Story Hill box while your child watches. Do not allow
light inside the Story Hill boxes. When your child thinks they
remember which Story Hill box Funny Bunny is hiding under,
let the child reveal Funny Bunny. If there are multiple children
playing, have them take turns revealing Funny Bunny.
Intermediate: Select 2 Story Hill boxes. Hide Funny Bunny and
slowly swap the locations of the Story Hill boxes whole your
child watches. Do not allow light inside the Story Hill boxes. Do
not lift the Story Hill boxes from the surface as you move them.
You may swap locations several times depending on your child's
ability. When your child thinks they remember which Story Hill box
Funny Bunny is hiding under, let the child reveal Funny Bunny.

Advanced: Use all 3 Story Hill boxes. Hide Funny Bunny and
slowly swap the locations of all 3 Story Hill boxes while the child
watches. Do not allow light inside the Story Hill boxes. Do not
lift the Story Hill boxes from the surface as you move them. You
may swap locations several times depending on your child's
ability. When your child thinks they remember which Story Hill box
Funny Bunny is hiding under, let the child reveal Funny Bunny.
Sing for me, Funny Bunny!
Beginner: Select 2 Story Hill boxes. Position the Story Hill boxes
some distance apart from each other. Ask your child to close or
cover their eyes while you place Funny Bunny under 1 Story Hill box.
Do not allow light into the Story Hill boxes. Now the child opens their
eyes and listens carefully. Funny Bunny will begin to hum. Have your
child lift the box they think Funny Bunny is hiding under. If there are
multiple children playing, have them take turns revealing Funny Bunny.
Advanced: Hide Funny Bunny under 1 Story Hill box somewhere
in your house. Do not allow light into the Story Hill boxes. As
soon as Funny Bunny is hidden, it will begin to hum. Where
is Funny Bunny hiding? Under the table? Behind the door? Let
your child find the Story Hill box containing Funny Bunny.
