If you are installing at a hazardous location, use the following recommendations:
Attach the mounting plate with included self-drilling screws to the mounting surface. With cable plugged in,
assemble the Asset Gateway and cover. Fasten with the two included machine screws. Wire the included 2A
fuses between cable and power source(s).

WHILE THE CIRCUIT IS LIVE OR UNLESS THE AREA IS FREE OF IGNITIBLE CONCENTRATIONS.

standard location installation
When selecting a location for your device, reference
the following tips:
Verify that the cable has adequate clearance to
reach the AG and the electrical connection. Ensure
that the AG has a clear view of the sky. Avoid
installing the device within metallic structures,
such as within metal trailers. Placement in such
structures may adversely impact device cellular and
GPS connectivity.
Attach the gateway to the asset using the provided
#6 self-drilling screws with maximum torque of
1.4 Nm (12.4 lbf-in). If you choose to fasten
the device with your own screws, use these
recommendations for screw size to avoid damage
to the device mounting tabs.
