Do not displace the pump by lifting it with the help of the flex. Fix an additional wire
to the pump housing to lift the pump out of the water.
!
Prevent any damage to the pump as a result of running dry. Switch off immediately.
!
Disconnect the pump in case of maintenance, activities or swimming in the water.
!
VT sump pumps are made to displace water. The pump must not be used with
sewage, salt water and corrosive, flammable or oily substances, such as gasoline,
petroleum or cleaning agents.
!
The temperature of the water to be displaced may be maximum 35 °C.
!
Prevent frost damage. Clean the pump and store it in a dry and frost-free place.
!
The sump pump is meant for temporary use and has not been designed as a conti-
nuous circulation pump. As the occasion arises, its lifetime will be considerably shorter.
!
Place the pump upright and level on a solid base (if necessary a flat stone).
!
Take care that the suction inlet at the bottom of the pump is immerged all around
in the water. Prevent any damage to the pump caused by sucking gravel or sand.
!
Select the operation mode, place the pump in the water and plug it in.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
VT Submersible Pumps have been designed to be used around the house and garden.
They are used for drainage in case of flooding, to empty water basins, pump up water
from wells, drainage of boats and yachts and also for circulating water for a limited
period of time. VT Submersible Pumps can be used completely under water up to a
considerable depth, in proportion to the model. The pump can displace both clean
and polluted water. Organic particles up to 5 mm can still be sucked up. Mount the
L-part and the hose socket (25/32 mm) supplied along on the pump outlet. Fix the
drain hose using a hose clamp. Put the pump upright and level on a solid base (if ne-
cessary a flat stone). Take care that the suction inlet at the bottom of the pump is im-
merged all around in the water. Prevent any damage to the pump caused by sucking
gravel or dirt. Select the operation mode, place the pump in the water and plug it in.
Selection switch
The built in float is moving up and down in its casing and controls the pump.
Using the selection switch, the pump can operate automatically or manually.
