For activation / deactivation proceed as follows:
For activation, press the button (fig. 2/c) for at least 10 seconds. The LED flash up 2 times Red
and you hear the audio signals.
For deactivation, press the button (fig. 2/c) for at least 10 seconds. The LED flash up 2 times
Green and you hear the audio signals.

Factory settings

The Reset function puts the CT-MultiCom back into the state as delivered from factory.
PLEASE NOTE:
Stored settings are lost!
Switch the radio OFF. On radios, the accessory interface of which is alive even in switched-off
condition (e.g. STP 8000), disconnect the plug of the CT-MultiCom from the radio or remove the
storage battery from the radio, as voltage is being applied to the interface of the radio even if it
is in switched-off state.
Press the two buttons (fig. 2) and switch the radio ON. On radios, the accessory interface of
which is alive even in switched-off condition (e.g. STP 8000), reconnect the plug of the CT-
MultiCom or reinsert the storage battery and continue holding both buttons down until the LED
light up 3 times Green and you hear the audio signals.
Let the two buttons (fig. 2) go.
Now, factory setting is reset.
Customized versions

5.1
Function key
The CT-MultiCom may also be equipped with a personalized function key (fig. 1/b). In that case, this
key is coloured (but neither orange nor black). The function of this key depends on the type of radio and
specification of the customer.
For further details, please refer to the instruction manual of the connected radio!
5.2
Speaker deactivation
The CT-MultiCom may be equipped with a customized speaker deactivation. If the speaker is
deactivated, the LED lights up Red LED in 10 second intervals. To deactivate the CT-MultiCom
speaker, press the button (fig. 2/c); the LED flash up Red and you hear an audio signal. To activate it,
press the button again; the LED flash up Green and you hear an audio signal.
ATTENTION!
With the speaker deactivated, there is no reception!
5.3
Switch-on function
The CT-MultiCom can be equipped with a customer-specific switch-on function for the connected radio.
The switched-off radio can be switched on with the large transmit button (figure 1/a), provided the radio
supports this function. After this, the button adopts its normal PTT function.

6.1
Visual inspections
Examine the device and in particular the cables and plug connectors regularly for signs of fractures,
cracks and wear. Send defective devices to CeoTronics for repair.
