ADDRESSABLE CARBONMONOXIDE GAS DETECTOR /
1. INTRODUCTION
This user manual is valid for MG-1821 / MG-1821.SCI Mavigard Addressable Carbon Monoxide Gas Detector /
Short Circuit Isolator products. In this manual, the structure, working principle, mounting, usage, storage and
transportation conditions of the product are explained.
2. WARNINGS
• Installation should be done by authorized and experienced personnel in accordance with the directives specified
in the user manual. Maintenance and repair must be carried out by the authorized service of the manufacturer firm
or by the technicians authorized by the manufacturer. The product must be protected against dust, moisture, shock,
vibration, falling and water during use.
• Transport and storage; It should be in its original packaging and at -20°C / + 50°C ambient temperature, so as not
to be exposed to dust, moisture, shock, vibration, drop, water.
• The product may be damaged and unusable when used outside the specifications specified in the user manual.
• Lubricants, cleaning agents or petroleum-based products should not be used in product cleaning that can be
made by the user.
• Within the scope of periodic maintenance, maintenance is required at least 2 times a year (every 6 months) by
expert technical service personnel.
• The installation of the product should be done by the customer who purchased the product, taking into account
the connection diagrams and installation information contained in this manual.
• The identified and declared useful life is 5 years.
• If the supply cord is damaged, this cord must be replaced by authorized personnel to avoid a dangerous situation.
• The installation of the device should not be made in places that can radiate heat.
Please Be Careful: Alarm devices help save lives and property. For this reason, it should be checked that the
devices are regularly working. The alarm system does not eliminate the danger. It is only giving information, never
forget that.
3. PURPOSE OF USAGE
3.1 The product is designed to detect CO gas in car parks, tunnels and loading areas and to provide audible and light
notifications.
3.2 When the detector detects CO gas in its environment, it sends a signal to the panel as Alarm 1, Alarm 2 and Alarm
3 levels. Alarm threshold levels Alarm 1 = 30ppm, Alarm 2 = 60ppm and Alarm 3 = 150ppm are set as factory default
values. Values can be changed via addressable gas panel, if desired.
3.3 The product has been designed to work uninterruptedly with the VIP protocol within the range specified for heat,
humidity, ppm concentration.
4. MOUNTING LOCATION
The gas detector installation should be 150 cm from the ground and 150 cm from the CO source and as given in the
Installation Diagram.
5. WORKING PRINCIPLE
Detectors use electrochemical sensors to detect CO gas. It communicates with the VIP addressable communication
protocol.
For the detector to work, the connections given in the Connection Diagram must be made. After the connections are
made, the detector is energized and its communication with the addressable gas panel is provided. After the detector
completes its opening, the Green led, which is the Power led, flashes together with the communication led. Red led
lights up in case of an alarm and Yellow led lights in case of a fault.
3 different alarm levels are defined for the detector. When the detector detects 30ppm gas in the environment, Alarm
1, when it detects 60ppm gas, Alarm 2, when 150 ppm gas is detected, Alarm 3 signal is activated. Alarm 3 condition
includes Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 conditions, Alarm 2 status includes Alarm 1 status. These alarm levels can be changed
via the addressable gas panel menu.

1. ВВЕДЕНИЕ
В этом руководстве содержится информация MG-1821 / MG-1821.SCI Mavigard Адресного детектора
угарного газа / c изолятором КЗ, структуры устройства, принципа работы, сборка, использование, условия
хранения и транспортировки.
2. ПРЕДУПРЕЖДЕНИЯ
• Установк а должна выполняться квалифицированным и опытным перс онал ом в с оответствии с
директивами, изложенными в руководстве пользователя. Техническое обслуживание и ремонт должны
в ы п о л н я т ь с я а в т о р и з о в а н н ы м с е р в и с о м п р о и з в о д и т ел я и л и т е х н и ч е с к и м и с п е ц и а л и с т а м и ,
уполномоченными производителем. Изделие необходимо защищать от пыли, влаги, ударов, вибрации,
падений и воды во время использования.
• Транспортировка, и хранение; должен быть в оригинальной упаковке и при температуре окружающей
среды -20 ° C / + 50 ° C, чтобы не подвергаться воздействию пыли, влаги, ударов, вибрации, падений, воды.

3. ЦЕЛЬ ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЯ
3.1 Устройство предназначено для обнаружения угарного газа на стоянках, туннелях и погрузочных
площадках, а также для подачи звуковых и световых оповещений.
3.2 При обнаружении извещателем угарный газ в окружающей среде, на адресный прибор контроля
загазованности поступает сигнал, об уровнях опасности «Тревога 1», «Тревога 2» и «Тревога 3». Пороговые
уровни срабатывания сигнализации тревоги 1 = 30 частей на миллион, сигнал тревоги 2 = 60 частей на
миллион и сигнал тревоги 3 = 150 частей на миллион установлены как заводские значения по умолчанию.
При желании значения могут быть изменены на пкг.
3.3 Продукт был разработан для бесперебойной работы с протоколом VIP в диапазоне, указанном для тепла,
влажности и концентрации ppm.
4. МЕСТО УСТАНОВКИ - МОНТАЖА
Место монтажа детектора газа должно быть на расстоянии 150 см от земли и 150 см от источника CO, как
указано на схеме установки.
5. ПРИНЦИП РАБОТЫ
В детекторах используются электрохимические сенсоры для обнаружения угарного газа. Детекторы
взаимодействуют по протоколу связи VIP. Для работы детектора необходимо выполнить подключения,

1.ENTREE
Ce manuel est valable pour les produits MG-1821 / MG-1821.SCI Détecteur de gaz de monoxyde de carbone
adressable / isolateur de court-circuit Mavigard. Dans ce manuel, la structure, le principe de fonctionnement,
l'assemblage, l'utilisation, le stockage et les conditions de transport du produit sont expliqués.
2. LES AVERTISSEMENTS

4. PLACE DE MONTAGE
L'installation du détecteur de gaz doit être à 150 cm du sol et à 150 cm de la source de CO et comme indiqué dans
le schéma d'installation.
5. PRINCIPE DE FONCTIONEMENT
Les détecteurs utilisent des capteurs électrochimiques pour détecter le gaz CO Il communique avec le protocole de
communication VIP adressé. Pour que le détecteur fonctionne, les connexions indiquées dans le schéma de
connexion doivent être effectuées. Une fois les connexions effectuées, le détecteur est mis sous tension et il
communique avec l'installation à gaz adressée. Une fois que le détecteur a terminé son ouverture, le voyant vert, qui
est le voyant d'alimentation, clignote en même temps que le voyant de communication. La LED rouge s'allume en
cas d'alarme et la LED jaune s'allume en cas de défaut. 3 niveaux d'alarme différents sont définis pour le détecteur.

conditions de l'alarme 1 et de l'alarme 2, l'état de l'alarme 2 comprend l'état de l'alarme 1. Ces niveaux d'alarme
peuvent être modifiés via le menu adressable des centrales au gaz, si vous le souhaitez.
