Caster Cradle ® is designed to ensure that your equipment always returns to the proper place. Ideal for use under
hoods or in tight spaces where it's imperative that equipment lines up properly.
To install...
1) Determine location by positioning your equipment under the hood fire
suppression nozzle. Make sure location is dry and clear from any
debris and grease.
2) While the equipment is positioned, mark the caster centerlines (see
figure a). Roll the equipment out of the way and finish marking the
centerlines (figure b).
WARNING: Before moving the appliance from Caster Cradle
appliance must be off and allowed to cool. Ensure the appliance is
free from falling items. Restaining cable must be attached while the
gas hose is connected.
3) Position and center Caster Cradle
(figure c). It is helpful to mark Caster Cradle
4) Use Caster Cradle ® as a template to mark locations (figure d) for
mounting screw anchors.
5) Using a hammer drill and bit, drill
remove debris. Install each anchor using Anchor Installation Tool,
below the floor surface.
6) With Caster Cradle ® and area free from grease and debris, apply
bead of silicone sealant around the bottom edge of Caster Cradle
7) Secure Caster Cradle ® with ¼˝-20 x ¾ hex bolts and wipe area.
8) Move equipment back into position onto Caster Cradle
(figure e). At a visible location apply the warning label on
the appliance.
