9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- In order to ensure the optimal conditions and the duration of using the product, its
condition should be checked on a regular basis. In combination with proper cleaning and
maintenance, it will allow to keep the original appearance of the product.
- All the maintenance works should be carried out on the cooled down fireplace.
- It is necessary to remove ash and wood remains from the fireplace – pull out the ash
pan (Dwg. 6).
- The fireplace should not be cleaned with the use of corrosive products.
- Any smudges and stains should be removed by means of a soft brush, water and wash-
up liquid.
- After cleaning the plancha and extension panel for grilling, it is necessary to secure
them with edible oil.
- If the fireplace is not used, it is necessary to cover it with a special dust sheet in order
to extend its lifespan.
The fireplace made of corten (corten steel) must be swept at regular intervals because
patina is formed which resembles rust, until a uniform structure is obtained on the whole
material. Overlaying patina may cause stains on the surface around the fireplace.

Avoid overfilling the ash pan. Fireplaces are equipped with a removable and easy to clean
ash pan. After each use, it is necessary to empty the ash pan from the ash and the remains
of wood.
CAUTION!
All the maintenance and cleaning activities must be performed when the fireplace is
cooled down. Do not clean the fireplace when it is operating.
