a) Remove the battery cover from the bin lid.
b) Insert 4 x AA alkaline batteries (batteries not included),
observing the polarities (+ and -) as indicated in the battery
compartment.
c) Attach the battery cover to the bin lid. Secure the bin lid on the
bin.
● Remove the batteries if you will not be using the product for an
extended period of time.
● Exhausted batteries should be immediately removed from the
product and disposed of properly.
● CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an
incorrect type.
● Do not short-circuit the contacts.
● Do not use rechargeable batteries.
● Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
● Do not attempt to disassemble or open the batteries.
● If batteries have leaked, remove them from the battery
compartment with a cloth and avoid contact with skin. If contact
with the skin, mucous membranes or eyes, rinse affected area
immediately after contact with the acid and wash with plenty of
clean water. Seek immediate medical advice.
4. There is a switch is located at the back of the bin. Set the
switch to ON and the bin will be then in automatic mode.
● The lid stays closed and the bin is waiting to be activated to
open. Red light flashes every 5 seconds to indicate this mode.
● When the sensor detects movement, the lid will open. The lid will
stay open as long as the sensor detects movement within its
effective range.

5. The bin can also be used in manual mode.
NOTE: When the green light is flashing, the sensor is deactivated.
The bin lid can only be closed by pressing the "CLOSE" button.
CAUTION: Pushing the lid down by hand will damage the product.
Automatic Mode
Red light flashes.
Lid automatic close after 5
seconds.
You can also open the lid by
pressing the "OPEN" button, the
lid will stay open until the
"CLOSE" button is pressed.
During this mode a green light will
appear.
