When using the welder outdoors, you must take care that the wind does not dissipate the gas. Otherwise, the work
will not be done correctly.
WORK WITH GAS/NON-GAS
This equipment is capable of welding with gas or without gas, depending on the type of wire used. If you do not
use the appropriate type of wire in each case, the welding will be of poor quality.
Suitable gas for welding should be of the inert type, e.g. Argon (Ar), Helium (He), etc. Workpiece preparation
The area to be welded must be perfectly clean. Any kind of dirt or corrosion must be cleaned, otherwise it will be
impossible to weld properly.
Attach the ground clamp to the workpiece as close to the welding tip as possible.

OPERATION
1.
With the welding current already adjusted and the cable trimmed, place the control knob on point 6.
2.
Connect the welder to the power supply and place the switch to the ON position.
3.
Do a welding test operation to regulate both: the speed as well as the output current.
NOTE: This specialty must be learned with time and with the supervision of a specialist, and the user
must have general knowledge and skills in other fields related to this field.
4.
Approach the torch to the workpiece, place the tip of the torch at a 35° angle and press the trigger. As soon
as the rod makes contact with the work piece, the arc will be produced.
5.
In order to conduct a successful check, the controls must be tight. Precise adjustment will be learned with practice.
NOTE: Welding correctly is a skill that is acquired over time, for this reason, we advise that if you
are not used to this type of work, practice with a similar piece until you are satisfied with the result
and manage to adjust the controls satisfactorily.
NOTE: One of the most common problems that most inexperienced users have is that the rod sticks
to the workpiece when making contact. That is because the rod is being fed very slowly. For this
reason, it is always better to start with a high speed to be regulated slowly. That is the reason why
it is recommended to start with position 6.
NOTE: Working speed will increase automatically as the current increases. For this reason, once the
ideal speed is reached, it will not be necessary to adjust the control if the current changes.
NOTE: Pay attention to the sound produced. An irregular click denotes a very high feed speed.
Lower the speed until the sound is regular again.
