3. CHARGER INFORMATION
Only use STOOTS chargers. Connect the charger to a USB port delivering at least 1A
at 5V (computer, USB power adapter, smartphone charger...).
The blue light indicates that the charger is live. Screw the easyLock 21 on the charger;
the blue light flashes to indicate the battery is connected and charging. The charge is
complete when the blue light is fixed (about 6h at 1A). The charger supplied with the
lamp is fast charge compatible
The easyLock 21 battery can remain connected to the charger even after charging
is complete.
EasyLock 21 batteries can be recharged even if they are not completely discharged.
Ideally, 2 to 3 complete charge and discharge cycles should be performed every year.
WARNINGS: Do not store a nearly empty easyLock 21 battery for several months.
4. GENERAL INFORMATION
a. Do not stare into the beam of the lamp when it is on; do not direct the beam of the
lamp into the eyes of another person. The lamp is not suitable for children.
b. Store the lamp locked, at a temperature between -20°C and +30°C.
c. The aluminium light block acts as a heat sink to dissipate the heat generated by
the LEDs. At full power, when the outside temperature is high, in a static or confined
position, it can reach a relatively high temperature. Contact with the skin can lead
to burns.
d. The lamp is only waterproof if the battery has been tightly screwed in. The lamp
is not designed to operate in deep water for several hours.
e. The lamp, with the battery tightly screwed in, can be rinsed with water. Avoid water
pressure. After cleaning or use in a damp atmosphere, dry the lamp (air, cloth)
before storing it in a confined area.
f. During operation, the lamp generates a very weak magnetic field. At short distance
(less than 10cm), it can possibly disturb magnetic devices such as compasses,
detection devices, mapping devices...
g. LEDs, electronic circuits and batteries should not be disposed of with household
waste. Place them in the recycling bins provided for this purpose in accordance
with the applicable local regulations.
5. LIABILITY :
STOOTS is not liable for any direct, indirect or incidental consequences or any other
damage arising or resulting from the use of this lamp.
6. STOOTS WARRANTY:
STOOTS lamps are warranted for 2 years and accessories for 1 year against defects
in materials and manufacturing. This warranty excludes normal wear and tear,
oxidation, modifications by you, improper storage, improper maintenance, damage
due to accidents, negligence or use other than that for which your lamp is designed.
