Dear customer, the following safety information is intended not only for the protection of your
health but also for the protection of the device. Please read the following items carefully:
• For safety reasons, any unauthorized conversions and/or modifications to the product are not
permitted.
• The device must only be supplied with energy through the enclosed mains unit. Only a regular
mains socket (230-240 V/50 Hz) of the public mains supply must be used as a voltage supply for
the mains unit.
• All the persons who operate this mixer, install it, assemble it, put it into operation or service it
must be trained and qualified correspondingly and must observe these operating instructions.
• Never touch the power unit with wet or damp hands. There is the risk of a potentially fatal
electric shock.
• Do not touch the mains unit if it is damaged. First cut off the power supply to the relevant mains
socket (e.g. via the circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains unit out of the mains
socket. Do not operate the product anymore afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the mains unit's cable is not pinched or damaged
by sharp edges.
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children. Children cannot judge the dangers in-
volved when handling electrical devices.
• Do not place any containers with liquids, e.g. glasses, buckets, vases or plants in the immedi-
ate proximity of the product. Liquids may get into the housing and impair electrical safety. This
also poses great danger of fire or potentially fatal electric shock! In such a case, switch off the
mains socket to which the product is connected (e.g. switch off automatic fuse) and unplug the
mains unit from the mains socket. Disconnect all cables from the device. Do not operate the
product anymore afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not expose the device to any high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong vibra-
tions or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not place any open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on or directly next to the de-
vice.
• Consult an expert if you are unsure as to the function, safety or connection of the product.
• Never operate the device unattended.
• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
• Do not leave packing material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of all other devices connected to this de-
vice.
