2. Function
You can check whether your network cable or ISDN cable is working using the ca-
ble tester. The cable tester allows you to test the pin assignment and the cable
shielding easily.
3. Initial use
When the device is put into operation for the first time, check the intactness of the
product or components and their function again. Take the device out of the pack-
age and remove all the packaging material. Open the battery compartment located
at the rear of the main unit. Connect a 9V battery to the battery clip and insert it
into the battery compartment. Then close the cover of the battery compartment.
