6 USING THE DUST EXTRACTION OUTLET
In combination with the dust bag or an external dust extractor, the dust extraction outlet keeps
dust away from the sanding surface.
7 SWITCHING ON AND OFF
1. To switch on the machine press the on/off switch.
2. To switch off the machine, release the on/off switch.
3. To switch the machine to continuous mode, you keep the on/off switch fully pressed and
simultaneously press the lock button, then subsequently release the on/off switch.
To switch off continuous mode, press the on/off switch again.
Never use the machine for sanding magnesium workpieces.
8 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: Always disconnect the device before performing any adjustment or maintenance
operation.
The machine does not require any special maintenance. Clean the ventilation slots regularly,
removing any dirt with a dry cloth.
If the carbon brushes need to be replaced, have this done by a qualified repair person (always
replace the two brushes at the same time).
If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
9 ENVIRONMENT
CAUTION! This product has been marked with a symbol relating to removing electric and
electronic waste. This means that this product shall not be discarded with household
waste but that it shall be returned to a collection system which conforms to the Euro-
pean WEEE Directive. Contact your local authorities or stocks for advice on recycling.
It will then be recycled or dismantled in order to reduce the impact on the environment.
Electric and electronic equipment can be hazardous for the environment and for human
health since they contain hazardous substances.
