5 MOUNTING A SANDING BELT
Warning: Always disconnect the device before performing any adjustment or maintenance
operation. Pull the clamping lever out and turn it as far as it will go.
1. Take a sanding belt of the required grain size and place it on the rollers. Make sure that
the arrow on the inside of the sanding belt points in the same direction as the arrow on the
machine.
2. Make sure that the sanding belt is straight and centred on the roller.
3. Push the clamping lever back.
4. Switch the machine on to let the sanding belt run. With the machine switched on, turn the
belt centring knob until the sanding belt keeps running straight.
The sanding belt must be fitted firmly on the sanding pad and should not come
loose.
