Highway code
The use of an electric skateboard in France is subject to the rules of the Highway code relating to the
pedestrians (articles R 412-34 with R 412-43). The authorizations of traffic of the Gyropode type,
Rollerskates, scooters, Bicycles, Skateboard are determined by the municipalities or the general
advice.
Speed on pavement or pedestrian precinct should not exceed 6 km/h, to go more quickly, want to use
the cycle paths. Control on road is not advised.
