•
The key chuck allows normal bits (non
SDS type) to be used with the tool.
•
To fit the key chuck, grip and pull back
the locking sleeve and insert the key
chuck into the holder.
•
Release the locking sleeve to lock the
key chuck in place.
•
To use the key chuck, insert the chuck
key into the one of the holes and
rotate it anticlockwise to open the
chuck.
•
Insert the bit into the chuck and rotate
the chuck key clockwise to tighten it.
An auxiliary handle is packed with the tool
for ease of operation and to help prevent
loss of control. The handle can be rotated
360° and it can also be mounted on the
opposite side for left hand use.
•
Loosen the handle by turning the
handle anticlockwise.
•
Rotate the handle to the desired
operating position.
•
Securely tighten by turning the handle
clockwise.
•
To change the position of the depth
gauge, loosen the auxiliary handle
and slide the depth gauge in the hole.
•
Set the depth, checking the depth
with a steel ruler for most accurate
measurement and then turning the
handle clockwise to tighten the depth
gauge in the required position.
