- Page 5 Installation / Installation / Instalación For proper operation of the faucet, install the hot valve on the left and the cold valve on the right. Lightly lubricate the stem extensions and the threads on the valves using white plumbers' grease. Install the handles. Secure the handle to the valve by rotating the escutcheon clockwise.
