Nach Einbau des E-Satzes sind die obligatorische
Anhängerbeleuchtung sowie die in einigen Ländern
gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Anhängerblink-
überwachung ohne jede Freischaltung am Fahrzeug
gewährleistet! Ein Defekt eines Fahrtrichtungsanzeigers
a m A n h ä n g e r w i r d d e m F a h r e r ü b e r d a s
Informationsdisplay im Kombi-Instrument angezeigt!
HINWEIS:
Sollte sich die fahrzeugseitige Nebelschlußleuchte nicht
automatisch im Anhängerbetrieb abschalten, muß die
Zentralelektrik wie folgt codiert werden:
Fahrzeuge mit Einparkhilfe
Die automatische Deaktivierung der rückwärtigen
Einparkhilfe im An-hängerbetrieb wird durch
nachfolgende Codierung via Diagnose-Assistenz-
System erreicht:
· Steuergeräte
· Aufbau
· ZGW - Zentrales Gateway /
EZS - Elektronischer Zündstartschalter
· Steuergeräte-Anpassungen
· Codierung lesen und gegebenenfalls
ändern
· Anhänger (auf vorhanden schalten!)
· Codierung durchführen (F5)
Nach erfolgter Codierung wird neben der Deaktivierung
einer rückwärtigen Einparkhilfe im Anhängerbetrieb
auch der Ausfall eines Fahrtrichtungsanzeigers am
Anhänger als erweiterte Fehler-meldung im
Informationsdisplay des Kombi-Instruments dargestellt,
ver-bunden mit einer Blinkfrequenzerhöhung der
f a h r z e u g s e i t i g e n

Anhängerbetrieb konfigurieren / Set up trailer operation
General
After installation of the electrics kit, the mandatory
trailer lighting and the trailer indicator monitoring
that is required by law in some countries, operates
automatically with no additional software!
Any defect in the trailer direction indicators is shown
by a bulb failure symbol on the information display
on the istrument panel.
NOTE:
If the vehicle's rear fog lamp does not switch off
automatically in trailer mode, the following code
must be entered into the central electrical system:
Vehicles with parking assistance
Deactivation of the reversing parking sensors when
towing a trailer, can be programmed by the dealer
using the dealer diagnostic assistance system. This
is simply carried out by following the coding
procedure below:
· control devices
· construction
· ZGW – central gateway/
EZS - electronic starter
· control device adjustment
· read the coding and change if necessary
· trailer (switch to "present")
· execute coding (F5)
After coding, to deactivate the rear parking sensors,
there is an additional warning of trailer indicator
failure, by the double flash rate of the direction arrows
on the instrument display, and as an extended defect
report in the information display section of the
instrument panel.

Généralités
Après le montage d'un kit électrique, l'éclairage
obligatoire de la remorque ainsi que la surveillance
– prescrite dans certains pays – des indicateurs de
direction de la remorque sont assurés sur le véhicule,
sans qu'aucune validation ne soit nécessaire! Un
défaut de l'indicateur de direction de la remorque
est signalé au conducteur sur le panel de controle!
AVERTISSEMENT:
Si le feu brouillard arrière monté sur le véhicule ne
s'éteint pas automatiquement, il faut compléter la
configuration en codant l'électricité centrale comme
suit:
Véhicules avec aide au parking
La désactivation automatique de l'aide au parking
monté à l'arrière, lors de l'utilisation d'une remorque
est obtenue par le codage suivant sur le système
d'assistance et de diagnostic:
· systèmes de commande
· structure h
· ZGW - Gateway central/
EZS - clé de contact électronique
· paramétrage des systèmes de com-
mande
· lire et modifier éventuellement le codage
· remorque (basculer sur présente!)
· exécuter le codage (F5).
Lorsque le codage est effectué, outre la désactivation
de l'aide au parking monté à l'arrière, en présence
d'une remorque, la panne d'un indicateur de direction
de la remorque est présentée comme un message
d'erreur étendu sur l'affichage d'information de
l'instrument combiné, associée à une augmentation
de la fréquence de clignotement des voyants de
contrôle des indicateurs de direction, côté
conducteur!
