INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
You have just purchased an MG 30 flykiller and
we hope that it will give complete satisfaction.
WARNING
The units must only be used in areas
which are free of dust and possible
explosive vapour mixture. Should
you have any queries contact your
local fire authority
installation. The units are only suitable for
indoor use and is not suitable for use in barns,
stables and similar locations.
IMPORTANT
This appliance is not designed for used by
persons (children included) with diminished
physical, sensory or mental capacities or no
experience or knowledge, except if they are
correctly supervised or if they have been given
the instructions on how to use the appliance
with complete safety and if they understand the
risks involved (A2 / EN 60335-1).
GUARANTEE
Your unit is guaranteed for 5 years (excluding
replacement bulbs and glueboards). If a fault
occurs, contact your supplier, who will replace
your unit providing the product has been
operated under normal conditions.
INSTALLATION
1. Open the product to access the wall support
2. Fix the board to a wall by the four holes,
according to plan bellow, with 4 screws
(optional supply).
3. Slide the glue board by the side
(after having removed the protective film).
4. Plug in the appliance (230 V/50 Hz) which
must imperatively be connected to
an electric socket that is earthed.

POSITIONING
Your unit should ideally be fixed at least two
meters above the ground, preferably in the
darkest place within the area to be protected,
away from windows and skylights, thus avoiding
any competition with natural daylight or
sunlight.
In large open areas where two or more units are
required, siting needs careful consideration to
ensure maximum protection. Each unit within a
certain area should be centrally positioned.
The positioning of the units varies depending on
the location. Should any queries arise on sitting
please contact your supplier.
POWER REQUIREMENTS
The units are designed to operate from the
following power supply: 220/240V – 50/60Hz
Therefore, please ensure that your unit is
compatible with the electricity supply in your
premises.
SERVICING
Before any form of servicing, ensure that the
unit is disconnected from the mains supply.
To maintain the units efficiency, replace the UV
fluorescent bulbs every 12 months, glue boards
must be replaced every 2 months.
If any doubts arise regarding these instructions,
please contact your supplier.
