CONNECTION & REMOVAL
REGUL ATOR SAFE T Y
If regulator fails in unit, it must be replaced with a Blackstone approved
model and must only be replaced by a professionally licensed, authorized
dealer. Failure to comply will void the warranty.
CONNECTING THE REGUL ATOR TO THE LP TANK
Leak test new and exchanged LP tanks BEForE connecting to
griddle. Please reference the Leak Test Instructions section.
S T E P 0 1
LP tank must be properly secured to griddle.
(Please reference the Assembly Guide chapter.)
Ensure that the control knobs are turned to OFF.
❶ Ensure that the LP

tank is OFF by turning the OPD
hand wheel clockwise to a full stop.
❷ Remove the safety cap from the
Type 1 valve outlet.
S T E P 0 3
Hold the regulator in a
straight line with the Type 1 valve
outlet so as not to cross thread
the connection.
Center and insert the regulator
nipple into the Type 1 valve outlet.
Hand-tighten the coupling nut in a
clockwise direction.

Never attempt to attach
this griddle to the self-con-
tained LP gas system of a
camper trailer, recreational
vehicle or motor home.
Do not use the LP Tank until
it has been leak-tested.

C A U T I o n
LP gas is nontoxic, odor-
less and colorless when
produced. For safety and
easy detection, LP gas has
been given an odor similar
to rotten cabbage.
PLEASE NOTE: If connection cannot be
completed, disconnect regulator and repeat
step 03.
If still unable to complete connection,
do not use this regulator!
