7.1 Maintenance
This gas presence detector is maintenance-free.
Repairs must only be carried out by the manufacturer.
This does not apply to the battery or sensor replacement.

If faults cannot be eliminated by means of the listed measures, the
instrument must be taken out of operation immediately.

Ensure that pressure or signal is no longer present and protect against
accidental commissioning.

Causes
Sensor is damaged.
Battery level is too low.

Improper cleaning may lead to physical injuries and damage to property
and the environment. Residual media in the dismounted instrument can
result in a risk to persons, the environment and equipment.

Carry out the cleaning process as described below.

Measures
Remove the damaged sensor
and insert a replacement
sensor (→ see chapter
5.6 "Sensor").
Replace old batteries with
new AA batteries (→ see
chapter 5.5 "Batteries").
