41MM STEEL NAVIGATOR W/ DATE
The original Steel Navigator was developed in partnership with Kelly Air Force Base
in 1986 under NSN: 6645-01-150-8115. Marathon has now re-engineered Navigator
in Steel under NSN: 6645-01-698-4275 with improvements to the function, features,
accuracy, and durability.
The Steel Navigator w/ Date features: Enhanced tapering of lug for a more
comfortable fit; Bezel size increased for improved grip with flight gloves and
inset-painted indices for better legibility; Sapphire crystal for increased altitude
rating, scratch resistance, and clarity; ETA F06.412 High-Torque Quartz movement
for unmatched accuracy with date complication – a first, for any Steel Navigator.
