Spraying
1. Turn pressure setting (17) to chosen setting in
chapter 7.2 .
2. Check the battery pack capacity (18)using the
LED display.

3. Wait until the pump has stopped.
4. Spraying: Hold the spraying lance (19) away
from yourself and operate the hand valve (16).
Note: The electronics control the pump speed and
switch the pump on and off.
Note: Is the application time too short?
Solution: Reduce the working pressure by turning
the pressure setting (17) .

After use

Dispose of residual material properly and in
accordance with the manufacturer`s
instructions.
Do not use your mouth to blow out any residue:
Danger of poisoning!
1. Empty container and rinse with clean water.
2. Spraying empty:
Set max. pressure on pressure setting (17).
Turn regulating nozzle (4) to "jet" setting.
Spray until no more liquid escapes.
3. Fill container with clean water, switch on the
device (max. pressure, "jet" setting). Spray until
no more liquid escapes.
4. Clean regulating nozzle (4) with a soft brush (do
not use hard objects).
5. Store the container always empty, open and
protected from frost (min. 5 °C).
6. If not used for a longer period of time: store the
fully-charged battery pack separately from the
device.

LED error display
Number of flashes of the LED display (18) and their
meaning:
1x = battery pack empty – charge battery pack
2x = overheating of electronics – leave to cool
down for 15 min
3x = no pressure / little pressure – see chapter 8.
"Troubleshooting"
4× = autom. switch-off after 15 min of not in use
5x = autom. switch-off after 30 min of continuous
operation
7x = overcurrent / short circuit
Note: The LED display repeats 10 times
8. Troubleshooting
Maintenance and repair work may only be
carried out by trained personnel or by the
specialist dealer and only using original Metabo
parts.
Motor runs, no pressure

- Operate hand valve (16) and release pressure.
- Suction valve is stuck - contact a specialist.
(clean the device (see chapter 7.4). Remove the
hose connection as shown. Insert the ball pump
and pump several times which releases the valve.
Reassemble.
Motor runs, insufficient pressure / spraying
output
- Clean suction hose - contact a specialist.
- Clean / replace filter - contact a specialist.
Motor does not run
- Charge (12) battery pack
- Replace fuse - contact a specialist. (mini motor
vehicle plug fuse:
5 A | DIN 72581/3C | 19 × 20 ×5 mm)
Leak
- Replace gasket - contact a specialist.

9. Maintenance and servicing

Have a specialist carry out regular checks and
cleaning, replace if necessary:
• All gaskets
• Filter (hang valve, suction hose)
• Regulating nozzle

10. Accessories

Use only original Metabo or CAS (Cordless Alliance
System) battery packs and accessories.
Use only accessories that fulfil the requirements
and specifications listed in these operating
instructions.
Chargers: ASC Ultra, ASC 145, ASC 55, etc.
Battery packs with different capacities. Buy
battery packs only with voltage suitable for your
power tool.
