4- Once the housing for the strike plate has been made in the frame,
drill the holes for the screws with a 4 mm drill bit for wood screws.
In the case of metal or armoured doors, use a ø5 metal drill bit.
CAUTION!: Do not exceed the depth of the door when
drilling the screws. Make sure there is no problem drilling
through the door, spacing yourself as far apart as necessary
so as not to interfere with, for example, a multi-point lock.
If you have to install the lock on METALLIC OR HINGED DOORS,
you must use the DIN 7981 Ø6.3 mm sheet metal screws included
(no. 4) and use a ø5 metal drill bit. FOR WOODEN DOORS, use
wood screws (nº6 and nº7).
Then, remove the paper templates to start placing the device.
