OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

Maintenance Procedures
1.
Keep the power cord and auxiliary power outlet
socket clean at all times. Particles in the socket or on
the plug can adversely affect cooler performance.
2. Before cleaning the Versatemp cooler, be certain
it is disconnected from all power sources. Wipe the
inside of the cooler clean with a warm, damp cloth.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners. A mild soap
or baking soda solution is typically sufficient for
this purpose.
3. To clean the air vents of dust, ensure that the
Versatemp cooler is disconnected from all power
sources. Remove dust by gently cleaning with a soft
brush or use a vacuum cleaner.
4. Should the fuse in the DC cable require replacement:
unscrew the tip of the plug; remove the used fuse;
insert the new fuse; and reattach the tip of the plug.
See figure below for proper assembly.
5. After extended use the Versatemp may have ice
accumulation in side the housing. If this occurs
unplug the unit and allow to thaw. Then up excess
moisture with a cloth.
