7.2 Insertion into the lawn
1. Connect the connecting pipe to the neck of the main unit, and then connect the ground
spike.
2. Choose a flat lawn area where water will not pool. The product must not be immersed in
water to avoid damage.
3. Push the assembled spike securely into the lawn until 1/3 of the connecting pipe or the
base of the neck is above the ground.
4. Adjust the angle of the lighting head and solar panel.
7.3 Wall mounting
1. (If attached) remove the connecting pipe and spike from the main unit.
2. Position the wall mounting holes of the main unit in the chosen location, and use 2 screws
and 2 dowels provided to secure the main unit to the wall.
8 Operation
The solar panel charges the rechargeable battery during daytime if there is sufficient sunlight.
The integrated light sensor will automatically turn the LED spot light on at dusk and off at dawn.
Note:
– The solar panel charges the rechargeable battery regardless of whether the product is
switched on or switched off.
1. If using the product for the first time or after prolonged periods of low sunlight, allow the
battery to fully charge for at least 6 – 8 hours on sunny days or at least 2 days on cloudy
days.
2. Once charged, press the On/Off button to turn the product on and select the desired
brightness setting.
– High (up to 8 hours) > Medium (up to 10 hours) > Low (up to 12 hours) > Off
3. When the product is turned on, battery charging and turning the light on and off is
completely automatic.
4. Press the On/Off button to turn the product off when required.
9 Cleaning and care
Important:
– Do not use harsh cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions. They
damage the housing and can cause the product to malfunction.
– Do not immerse the product in water.
– Do not expose the product to strong jets of water (e.g. high-pressure cleaning devices).
1. Before cleaning, turn off the product by pressing the On/Off button and allow it to cool
down.
2. Clean the solar panel and spot light with a soft damp cloth. Clean the product regularly.
Dust and dirt covering the solar panel reduce charging efficiency.
3. If the product will be stored for some time, turn the product off before storing. Rechargeable
batteries can be damaged if left discharged for some time. It is recommended to recharge
the battery of the product regularly to prevent the battery from being completely discharged.

which are not enclosed by the WEEE, as well as lamps that can be removed from
the WEEE in a non-destructive manner, must be removed by end users from the
WEEE in a non-destructive manner before it is handed over to a collection point.
Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to provide free take-back
of waste. Conrad provides the following return options free of charge (more details on our
website):
