Warranty and conditions of sale
WARRANTY AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Sentinel warrants that the products sold are without design or manufacturing
defects or defects relating to the materials used, under normal operating
conditions and according to the instructions in the manual provided with the
product.
The buyer is the sole holder of the warranty rights provided for in accordance
with Directive 99/44/EEC, valid for countries of the European Economic
Community.
The warranty covers all equipment components and includes repair or if
necessary replacement, free of charge, of any elements that are found to be
non-compliant, in the opinion of Sentinel Technical Support.
The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or wear and tear.
In addition, it does not cover damage or failure due to causes beyond the
manufacturer's control, such as transportation, incorrect installation or
maintenance, tampering, surges in electrical voltage and/or hydraulic pressure,
lightening, corrosion, excess moisture, accidental shocks or acts of God.
The warranty is valid provided that all instructions from Sentinel included in the
product manual are followed for product installation, usage and maintenance.
If the product presents defects during the warranty period, the customer must
contact the appropriate support facility to make arrangements for repair and/or
replacement.
After-sales technical support is provided under warranty by:
• Authorised technical support centres, for products that they have installed.
• By dealers, for products that do not require installation.
