Ski carriers: skis must be loaded with tips to the rear
of the vehicle. Consult ski carrier user instructions about
the permissible number of pairs of skis for each model.
The distance between supporting pieces must be adjust-
ed so that, when the binding strikes the rear support, the
skis cannot tip out at the front support.
17.
Loads must be secured with appropriate fixation belts or
similar. Elastic belts with fixing hooks must not be used.
18.
The loads that protrude from the transport system or ve-
hicle must fulfil the norms in force and shall be correctly
displayed.
19.
Ensure the load is always properly fixed after having cov-
ered short distance, and verify at appropriate gaps (tak-
ing into account the driving conditions) the tightening of
the fixing elements is correct.
Safety
20.
Speed must be suited to the load and conditions such as
state of the road surface and traffic conditions, the driver
must foresee the differences in the behaviour of the vehi-
cle when braking, cornering and because of side winds.
21.
Speed limits must not be exceeded.
22.
Please take always into account the total height of the
vehicle (vehicle+load). Pay attention when entering ga-
rages, to low branches etc.

Bars/ roof-racks/ accessories must be removed before
entering car wash facilities.
24.
Products with locks must always be locked when moving.
25.
The small parts from the load carrier system must be out
of reach of children.
Maintenance
26.
The use of the system means an increase in fuel con-
sumption.
27.
In order to protect the environment and to gain security,
please disassemble the system when not in use.
28.
Keep the system in good condition. Mobile pieces must
be lubricated. Remove worn and broken pieces. The user
is the only responsible for keeping the condition and se-
curity of the system.
29.
The manufacturer is neither responsible for any damage
or incident derived from not following the use instruc-
tions, nor for improper use of the product, modification,
substitution or use of parts different to the manufacturer's
originals.
