Connect to an earthed socket.
When the unit is connected it starts the diagnostic
procedure. The display shows "self diagnosis".
When the unit is ready, the display shows "stand by".
Switching the unit on/off
Press the "on/off" button. The unit starts up, the display
shows "unit on".
