11. Now connect the tie rod to the operating
handle by tightening the Allen screw through
the hole in the housing. First, make sure the
hole, handle and rod end are aligned. To do
this, move the lever and with the pipe wrench
the rod end until they are in front of the hole.
Now put the bolt on the Allen key and insert it
through the hole in the handle and rod end,
tighten securely.
12. Remove the stone from between the base
plates and lower the housing over the studs.
Secure the housing by turning the cap nuts on
the remaining four threaded ends. Finally,
screw the blind plug back into the hole in the
housing.
13. The assembly of the pump is now
complete. Make sure everything is working
properly. Check that the pump has not been
damaged during installation. Check the pump
for burrs and sharp edges that could injure
