or there is a risk of heat related illness, take a break,
drink water and remove the jacket during the break.
To do maintenance on the product
• Wash the garment regularly in accordance with the
washing instructions, refer to
on the product on page 4 . Heavily soiled garments
may provide less protection.
• Strech the garment after it is washed and then let it
dry. Air dry slowly.
• In the event of a repair being carried out to the outer
material, do not sew into the protective material
since this can reduce the protective qualities.
Adhesive must not be used when carrying out
repairs as it may affect the protective material and
reduce its protective qualities.
• High visibility garments should be washed separately
or together with garments approved according to EN
ISO 20471:2013/A1:2016.
• Do not pre soak.

Service life of the product
Cut-retardant apparel and materials are subjected to
a certain degree of aging. In professional construction
work the maximum period of usage is considered to be
about 12 months. The period of usage depends on the
specific conditions used. In case of doubt, the product
should be examined to ensure it conforms to current
technical requirements, and also for wear or changes,
and be replaced with a new product if necessary.
