Product description
This product is an item of personal protective equipment
(PPE). PE 10J SmartGuard is intended to be used
during operation of a power cutter machine. It is
comprised of a material that can reduce the risk of
lacerations in certain kickback events. Operators must
read, understand and follow all instructions provided
on the product and in operator's manuals. It is the
operator's responsibility to use equipment properly and
avoid kickbacks. No personal protective equipment
(PPE) can offer full protection against injury.
The jacket offers some protection to chest, shoulder and
neck area. It can reduce the risk of laceration in the
event of a power cutter kickback. The illustration shows
the area that has the reinforced material.
This product complies with the basic requirements
in EU directive 2016/425 and is manufactured in
compliance with EN ISO 20471:2013/A1:2016.This
standard regulates the requirements for materials with
reflective properties. Fluorescent fabrics and reflector
strips ensure high visibility.
The sleeves on the jacket are detachable which enables
the user to turn the jacket into a vest. Use this feature
during hot weather conditions or during indoor use to
avoid heat related illness.
