To promote a dense, healthy turf is the best way to keep weeds out of the
lawn. Weed will only grow if the turf canopy is week. Control weeds when
they are young, as older, tougher weeds are often immune to any plant
protection products.
Maintenance
Switch off the motor prior to maintain the lawn mower and pull the power cord.
Always allow the lawn mower to cool down sufficiently.
Also pull the power cord

If the lawn mower is unattended,

when disturbances occur,

after clearing blockages or unclogging the discharge opening,

after contact with foreign objects

the lawn mower vibrates abnormally.
Cleaning and Storing
Before cleaning the lawn mower switch off the motor and allow cooling
down sufficiently.
After each use remove stubborn dirt with a hand broom.
If you intend to store the lawn mower for a long time (e.g. during winter),
thoroughly clean the housing with a hand broom or a cloth. Lightly lubri-
cate all metal parts with oil to protect them from rust.
Store the lawn mower in a dry location and protect the lawn mower from
dust and dirt.
When covering the lawn mower during storage, do not use a plastic
tarpaulin, it will trap moisture around the motor. Preferably cover the lawn
mower with a gunnysack or similar.
Some components are subject to wear and deterioration. Frequently check
these components and replace them, when necessary. Only use original
replacement parts.
