Cabin Air Filter Removal
The information below explains necessary procedures and tools to remove and install the Cabin Air
Filter.
NOTE: On some vehicles, there may be a lever to release the filter cover(s).
1. Fully open the glove box.
NOTE: On some vehicles, press both sides
inward to open the door past the stop.
2. Remove the filter holder from the blower
housing, then remove the cabin air filter
from the filter holder.

3. Insert the new cabin air filter into the filter holder.
4. Install the filter assembly into the filter housing.
5. Close the glove box door.
Noise Test
6. Reconnect the ground (negative) battery cable.
7. Engine ON, A/C ON, blower speed on high.
8. Listen for any abnormal air noises from the air filter area.
