Agapé is a network stereo speaker designed and developed with the same high
standards as our traditional hi-fi speakers. We have therefore taken the same care
in its design and manufacture in order to preserve the sound philosophy,
The cabinet is made of 19mm thick high density
MDF with a satin black finish or two-tone real
light oak/black satin veneer.
The front is in beige mottled fabric supplied
with light oak/black satin finish or black as an
option (can be ordered separately).
It can also be supplied in black fabric with op-
tional satin black or mottled grey finish (can be
ordered separately).
The bass-reflex load has a front flat port for the
bass driver. The internal volume is made up of
5 separate acoustic cavities, one for each driver
and one for the tweeters. The electronics are lo-
cated in a separate closed cavity to avoid elec-
tromagnetic and acoustic interference from the
drivers.
Agapé stands on ABS feet with foam pads.
Agapé is equipped with five speakers.
• One 140mm bass driver. A finished cone (not
pierced by the coil) with a Gaussian profile,
with a sandwich structure of pressed carbon
(non-woven) with a liquid crystal fibre core,
the same as that used for the ABSCISSE Jubilé.
It has a 38mm coil on a ventilated aluminium
support. Its suspension is made of rubber/
foam treated on a portion of its surface in
contact with the cone with an absorbent ma-
terial. Its long coil allows for long excursions

without distortion and a very high power han-
dling. The basket is made of aluminium with
flat speeder ventilation.
• Two 100mm midrange drivers, audiophile
quality paper cone with a 25mm coil on an
aluminium support. Its basket is also made of
aluminium. They have a double ferrite magnet
with slow magnetization. Their flexible core
cover is made of polypropylene.
• Two 28mm synthetic silk textile dome twee-
ters with a neodymium magnet and a closed
rear tuned cavity. Their horns are made of
ABS and have an optimised profile for better
control of their directivity.
All Agapé drive units are the result of our latest
research and are of truly audiophile quality.
The crossover is a hybrid design combining a
passive circuit and a DSP. It is passive between
the tweeters and the midrange with a slope of 12
db/octave at 2800hz using high quality compo-
nents and are assembled by hand.
The digital DSP filtering allows the connection
between the midrange and the woofer with a
slope of 24db/octave at 200hz and ensures an
optimum transition without intermodulation.
The amplifier module use Class D technology
and provide 2x65W for the midrange/treble and
1x125W for the bass.
