CLEANING AND MAINTE-
NANCE (3, 4, 8)
Switch the appliance off, pull
the mains plug and leave the
appliance to cool down before
commencing cleaning. Clean the
heating coil (f) and the pan rest (d)
with a damp cloth. Use kitchen roll
to remove the remaining cooking
oil from the granite plate (a) while
it is still lukewarm. Rinse the gran-
ite plate (a) with water and dry it
using kitchen roll. Then brush the
plate with a little cooking oil. Do
not use steel wool, wire brushes or
abrasive cleaning agents!
Note: Granite is a natural material.
Do not rinse the hot granite plate
with cold water, as the sudden
change in temperature could
cause the plate to crack. Also
avoid banging or striking the
granite plate.
The pans (g) and raclette spatulas
(g) can be cleaned using water
and a little standard washing-up
liquid. If they are heavily soiled,
leave them to soak in cold water
for about 30 minutes before clean-
ing them.
Caution: Never immerse the elec-
trical appliance in water and never
hold it under running water.

socket immediately if you suspect
a technical defect. Take the

shop and have it checked. The

for damage as a result of incorrect
