CARE AND CLEANING
Remove plug from the mains socket, and allow the coffee maker to cool down
before cleaning it.
After daily use, wash the moving parts (water reservoir lid, nylon filter, glass pot
and glass pot lid) with soapy water and clean the outside of the appliance with
a soft damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool pads or scouring
pads. Never immerse the coffee maker in water.
Remove limes when you observe an excess of steam or the coffee preparation
time is too long. It is recommended you remove lime scale every two months.
To do so:
Place the empty glass pot on the heating plate.

Mix three cups of white vinegar with nine cups of cold water into the
reservoir.

Switch on the coffee maker for a minute. Allow half of the solution to run
through and then switch off .

Leave for half an hour and switch on the coffee maker again. Allow the
rest of the solution to run through. Empty the glass pot .

upper mark on the level gauge, replace the empty glass pot, switch on and
allow the water to pass through.

Pass fresh water through the coffee maker 3 times (as described in point 5).
The coffee maker now ready for use.
