• Never touch the water or the immersed components when the unit is switched on.
• To prevent damage to components, do not splash the inside of the base unit.
• Do not scrape the transducer.
• In temperatures of below freezing (below 0°C), remove the water from the tank and the base to prevent the risk of
freezing.
• Do not use the humidifier if the air in the room is already humid enough (at least 50% relative humidity). Excessive
humidity is signalled by condensation on cold surfaces or cold walls in the room. To determine humidity of the room
correctly, use a hygrometer, available from most hardware and department stores.
• It is advisable to use the appliance at a temperature of between 5 and 40°C and in a relative humidity of below 50%.

Directions for use:
• Position the appliance in the room half an hour prior to switching it on so that it is the same temperature as the room.
• Remove the water tank from the appliance (Fig. 2), unscrew the cap by turning it anticlockwise (Fig. 3).
• Fill the tank with clean water at a maximum temperature of 40°C (Fig. 4). Check that the silicone washer is correctly in
place and then close the cover by turning it clockwise.
