Batteries OK
Batteries low: when this icon is blinking and the device emits a low battery sound alert
(sounds every 3 minutes), it is recommended to install new batteries or recharge them.

3. Installing / Recharging Batteries
1. Make sure the unit is switched off. Press the button on the belt clip and turn it 90° clockwise or counterclockwise.
2. Open the battery compartment and take the battery compartment cover off.
3. Insert 3 AAA-batteries, respecting the polarity.
4. Put the battery compartment cover back on & lock it. Rotate the belt clip back into its normal position.
Always replace all batteries at once. Do not mix old with new ones. Do not mix different battery types or batteries of different capacity. Do not
mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
Rechargeable batteries and an adapter are available as an optional accessory pack (order code PMR3AP).
If you've installed rechargeable batteries:
- The charging time is approximately 5 hours (which gives you a standby time of 10 to 15 hours, or 2 to 3 hours of continuous use)
- Plug the charging adapter into the jack (fig.1 #7) and switch on the PMR3. The battery level indicator (fig.2 #5) flashes while the batteries are
charging and stops flashing when the batteries are fully charged.
- The unit can still receive signals while it is being charged, but the CALL and PTT functions are unavailable.
