HOW TO USE
Before using the appliance for first time remove all packaging materials and any transport
safety devices. Confirm that all accessories mentioned have been supplied and clean the
toaster with a damp cloth.
Make sure that there is enough space between the toaster and the wall or other applian-
ces, as the toaster will become hot during operation, and connect the appliance to the
mains supply by lead cable.
Before using the toaster for the first time, you will have to perform a toasting process
without bread. Press the toast lever down until it latches into place. When the toasting is
finished, the toast lever automatically jumps up. You may now start toasting bread.
OPERATION
Select between Defrost, Reheat or Bagel function because if you don't, the normal toasting
function will take place with its own times.
Press +/- to set the toasting level from the lightest stage 1 to the darkest stage 9. If in any
doubt, start with the lower setting.
Insert sliced bread into the toasting slot and push down the lever until it locks.
The appliance starts toasting. The appliance switches off automatically once the set de-
gree of toasting has been reached and the toast pops up immediately.
The appliance has heat-insulated casing. However, as metal parts still heat up during ope-
ration, please allow cooling down before you put it away.
The toaster only allowed 2 slices of the toaster to be toasted at a time. You may interrupt
the toasting process at any time pushing the function key "Cancel".
We recommend the following toast darkness settings:
- Light for bread from the refrigerator or thin frozen bread slices.
- Medium for frozen waffles
- Dark for thicker frozen bread slices and thick toast slices.
Allow the unit to cool before putting it back in place.
CANCEL: If the toasting process is expected to stop.
REHEAT: Allows you to reheat already toasted bread or toast bread again,
bread that is not sufficiently toasted within a short time without changing the toasting
intensity.
DEFROST: Allows you to toast bread that has been previously frozen.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the electricity su-
pply. Unplug the appliance from the mains.
Do not immerse the appliance and power cord in water or other liquids and do not wash
them in the dishwasher.
Wipe the toaster with a damp cloth and a little dishwashing liquid. Do not use harsh clea-
