WARRANTV CONDITIONS
Johnson offers a repair guarantee against all manufacturing defects, including labour and spare parts,
within the terms and conditions indicated below:
Domestic Range, Commercial Range, Domestic VRF, Air to water heat pumps (monoblock and
3 years:
biblock), Domestic Fan Coils, DHW aerothermal storage heaters, Swimming Pool Heat Pumps, Domestic
Minichillers, Compact solar heaters, Thermosiphons, Purifiers, Dehumidifiers and other air treatment
appliances.
High pressure ducted, VRF and centrifuga! VRF far professional use, Minichillers far
2 years:
professional use, Modular Chillers, Fan Coils far professional use and Air Curtains.
Buffer tanks, and compressor (component only) far ali units.
5 years:
7 years (mainland Spain)/3 years (Canary lslands and Balearic lslands):
Compressor (component only) far selected products.
8 years:
The warranty of the VRF systems is subject to the study of the principie scheme by the Johnson
prescription department.
For aerothermal units, modular chillers and VRF systems, a commissioning with the official
technical service is required after installation in order to be eligible for warranty coverage.
This period shall be counted from the date of sale, which must be justified by presenting the
purchase invoice. The conditions of this warranty apply only to Spain and Portugal. lf you have
purchased this product in another country, please consult your dealer far the applicable conditions.
WARRANTV EXCLUSIONS
1. Equipment used improperly and any consequences of non-observance of the instructions far use
and maintenance contained in the manual.
2. Maintenance ar upkeep of the appliance: gas charges, periodic reviews, adjustments, greasing.
3. The devices disassembled ar manipulated by the user ar persons outside the authorized
technical services.
4. Materials broken ar deteriorated due to wear ar normal use of the device: remate controls,
gaskets, plastics, filters, etc.
S. Devices that do not have the factory serial number identified ar in which it has been altered ar
erased.
6. Faults caused by fortuitous causes ar accidents of force majeure, ar as a result of abnormal,
negligent ar inappropriate use of the device.
7. Civil liabilities of any nature.
8. Loss ar damage to software ar information media.
9. Faults produced by externa! factors such as current disturbances, electrical surges, excessive ar
incorrect voltage supply, radiation and electrostatic discharges including lightning.
1 O. lnstallation defects, such as lack of ground connection between indoor and outdoor units, lack of
ground connection in the home, alteration of the arder of the phases and the neutral, fiare in poor
condition ar connection with refrigeration pipes of different diameter.
11.When there is a pre-installation, the damage caused by not carrying out an adequate prelimi-nary
cleaning of the installation with nitrogen and checking far air-tightness.
12.External device linkages (such as Wi-Fi connections). This can never lead to unit change.
13.Substitutions and/or repairs to equipment ar devices installed ar located at a height equivalent to
ar greater than 2'20 meters from the ground.
14.Damage by freezing in plate and/or tube exchangers, and in condensers and water chillers.
15.Damage to fuses, blades, lamps, flow switch, filters and other elements derived from normal wear
and tear due to the operation of the equipment.
16. Faults that have their origin ar are a direct ar indirect consequence of: contact with liquids,
chemicals and other substances, as well as conditions derived from the climate ar the
environment: earthquakes, fires, floods, excessive heat ar any other externa! force, such as
insects, rodents and other animals that may have access to the interior of the machine ar its
connection points.
17. Damages derived from terrorism, riot ar popular tumult, legal ar illegal demonstrations and
strikes; facts of actions of the Armed Forces ar the State Security Forces in times of peace; armed
conflicts and acts of war (declared ar not); nuclear reaction ar radiation ar radioactive
contamination; vice ar defect of the goods; facts classified by the Government of the Nation as
"national catastrophe ar calamity".
